Frontman - Vocalist
Pete’s first foray into performing was with the Addams Family musical in 2015 which was his stage debut in Chester. A couple of local pub bands and some more musicals later led him to Revival in 2018. To date he has garnered a huge amount of experience fronting Revival with his first gig in a Blackpool Club in 2018 in front of 300+ people. Since then Pete has embraced Comedy (Dad Jokes a speciality!), Musicianship, singing, acting, and dancing and we are privileged to have him ‘Fronting’ the band.
Lead Guitar and Vocals
A Merseysider by birth, Dave grew up with the Mersey Beat in his blood and The Beatles in his ears. Having taught himself to play guitar at a very early age, Dave went on to work with various professional bands playing music from cabaret to country, and anything in between, both on stage and in the studio. A change in personal circumstances led to Dave retiring from professional playing in 1995, but in 2011 he was tempted out of retirement to perform as part of a duo, and subsequently joined the appropriately named Revival.
Guitar and Keys
Growing up in a talented musical family meant that Tom was surrounded by live music from an early age. Tom’s musical voyage started with (believe it or not) his Grandfather’s ukulele banjo, when he performed at family parties; closely followed by the piano, and classical guitar. His first ‘paid’ jobs were as a Pub pianist in the oldest pub in Wales, which at that time was famous for it’s Saturday night singalongs. These days they’d be Open Mic nights! Real life kicked in for a while, but Fast-forward to 2010 when Tom once again picked up his guitar when asked to round up a few like-minded people to provide live music for a local event.
Bass Guitar
Salvo grew up surrounded by a musically talented family. He draws influences from the big rock legends of the 70s and 80s. He started playing the drums but he soon switched to bass and it all paid off. He soon became part of a successful duo before joining Revival.
Percussion
Having been entranced by the sound of drums since a teenager, Steve’s passion for the instrument is still as strong as ever. Graduating from playing cover songs in several school and college bands, to leading the Worcester power-pop movement of the early 1990s with AFM. Steve has continued to play in an array of bands playing both original songs and a wide range of covers. He is an advocate of the ‘Moeller motion’ and attributes much of his style to the late great Jim Chapin (Drummers – look him up!) and can be seen switching between traditional and matched grip to suit the needs of the song.
